The weight of the device is 89 grams and the dimensions are The PRG T-7 protrek series will appeal to fans of G-Shock series because of the classic, rugged and clean look associated to the Pathfinder watches.

Well the Solar power is a nice feature. The Atomic Time is a slick feature. The watch updates wirelessly, daily, with the Atomic clock in Denver so that you always have the correct time. It will even account for Daylight Savings Time in the updates. The Altimeter, Barometer and Thermometer are nice features for the outdoorsman. The Pathfinder also lets you keep an eyeball on your elevation changes which can be handy for figuring out where you are on a topographic map when hiking in hilly or mountainous terrain and let you keep an eye on the weather changes as you shift altitude.

The digital compass naturally is extremely useful for orienting your map and for navigation. The Pathfinder came to me well packed, first in a cardboard box which in turn housed a neat, sturdy, pressboard sort of inner watch case. My kids wanted the box. They were marginally interested in the watch, but they tried fighting over the box until I told them I still needed it. Inside the nifty wood box was the Pathfinder itself.

Initial impressions of the watch were very good. It may not be quite as streamlined as a basic analog watch, but its pretty trim none the less. The rubberized band is or the two piece variety, hinged and attached via a pin. I like this set up for a couple of reasons.

First off, it allows the band to flex more and seem more comfortable on my wrist than with a one piece molded band. It also makes it easy to replace the band if needed as well. The Pathfinder allows for a pretty wide range of adjustment too, and should work for most wrist sizes without issue. The watch case itself is of stainless steel and seems solidly made, but not overly heavy. The PAW comes in at only 2. Not bad at all in my opinion.

Finally, the case back hangs slightly underneath the case, making up the remainder of the The proportions between each of these elements are balanced just right, while the mix of brushing and polished surfaces visually break up the case.

The crown is a little bit small for a dive watch, and would benefit from a slight bump up in size. The case design and finishing are very impressive, especially given the price range. Moving onto the dial where we had the pleasure of checking out the black glossy dial and the blue sunburst dial for this review. The black version of the watch is deep, rich black with a glossy finish. The red accents look great paired with the white print featured prominently throughout the rest of the dial.

For the blue version, the Pathfinder ditches the glossy finish in favor of a matte sunburst finish. The sunburst brushing in the dial is subtle and tasteful. It plays with the light as you turn your wrist, creating an entertaining and handsome visual effect. A pair of heavily brushed pencil hands point to the time.

Each end of the hands terminates in a point, giving them a little bit of added visual appeal. For the seconds, a slim, diamond-tipped hand is sent cruising around the dial by the automatic movement inside. On the black version, the diamond is highlighted in red paint, while the blue version features a vibrant orange accent.

The handset is clean, legible, and filled with lume — just like it should be on a dive watch. It has a tough solar power technology that drives all the functions of this timepiece. It has a digital compass, daily arm, thermometer, barometer, and tide and mood information functions. Not only those. This amazing piece has a countdown timer and a stopwatch function that are best to use for athletes. It has a power saving feature and it is also water resistant for up to feet.

This allows you to dive underwater while you are wearing the watch. With all the amazing functions it has, this watch has also great looks that you should be so proud of having.

It has a quartz movement with an extremely tough solar power. This tough timepiece is best to own especially for men and even women who are always on the go.

If you are an athlete and you need your watch to be multifunctional, then this is the perfect piece for you. It has a daylight saving function and as well as other features that include shock resistance, EL backlight afterglow, water resistance of up to feet making the assembly suitable for scuba diving.
